I have a Bell & Gossett "Upstart" circulating pump on my hot water heater for circulating hot water in my house. It just started making a noise after my electricity went out for an hour or so and it sounds like it's spot. Do you think I need a new one and if so, how do I order one?

The "Upstart" was a water lubricated pump, so the quality of the water has a lot to do with the bearing life. The newer pump for that service is the bronzed bodied NBF series. Local B&G rep can provide you with info about getting one.
